I want to tell you what this series is — and more importantly, what it isn’t — before the first post lands.
Over the last twelve months, I built something I’m calling the Taylord AI OS™. An AI Operating System for my business. Nine steps. Three phases. Built from forty years of entrepreneurial experience, fifteen years of coaching entrepreneurs through the moments where good businesses break, and a personal question I was no longer willing to leave unanswered:
Is it actually possible to run a high-quality business without it consuming the life it was supposed to serve?
The answer is yes. But not the way most of the AI conversation would have you believe.
This is not a story about AI saving my business. AI doesn’t save businesses. Honest assessment does. Clear systems do. Decisions that come from documented standards rather than a founder improvising under pressure at the end of a long day — those do. AI is the leverage. The operating system is what you leverage it with.
I’ve watched too many smart, capable entrepreneurs buy tool after tool, prompt pack after prompt pack, and walk away with generic output and a growing sense that maybe they’re just not built for this. They are built for it. They were just never shown how to give AI something worth knowing.
That’s what this series is. The missing piece.
Each post is built around one step. Every step includes the honest account of what it looked like when I did it — what I was trying to solve, where I got it wrong first, what I ended up building — and a specific action you can take that same week inside your own business.
This is not a course you consume. It’s a build you do alongside me. By the time we reach Step 9, if you’ve done the work at each post, you’ll have the foundation of an AI Operating System trained on your specific business. One that sounds like you. One that holds your standards. One that runs more of the operation so you’re not the only system keeping it moving.
